Deck Bright
Aqualis Deck Bright is a water-based general purpose decking cleaner suitable for use on all coated timber and coated composite substrates including paved, tiled, concrete surfaces and BBQ areas.
Designed as a general purpose cleaner and brightener, Aqualis Deck Bright can be used on all coated timber and coated composite surfaces. Its unique formulation cleans and protects the coated surface. It has been designed to remove dirt and grime, tree sap, food stains, oil and minor oxidative degradation from coated surfaces.
Aqualis Deck Bright is also useful around the house especially for removing grease and oil from, BBQ’s, concrete and as a general purpose cleaner.
Extreme: Severe dirt and grime soiling, heavy oxidation, accumulated BBQ stains and or tree sap, mould and mildew build up.
- Dilute 1 part Deck Bright to 4 parts water by volume
- Pre-wet timber surface with water
- Apply diluted Deck Bright mix by mop or spray and allow soaking in for at least 2-3 min. For stubborn stains allow 5 – 10 min
- Scrub surface with a ‘soft bristle’, broom or mechanical agitator
- Thoroughly rinse off with water
Moderate to light: Removal of dirt, light oxidation, fresh BBQ stains and light build-up of tree sap. House-keeping and routine cleaning.
- Dilute 1 part Deck Bright to 8 parts water by volume
- Pre-wet surface with water
- Apply diluted Deck Bright mix by mop or spray and allow soaking in for at least 2-3 min. For stubborn stains allow 5 – 10 min
- Scrub surface with a ‘soft bristle’, broom or mechanical agitator
- Thoroughly rinse off with water
It is recommended that all coated timber decking be cleaned with Deck Bright at least every 3 to 6 months depending on location and density of surrounding trees and native wildlife. For areas exposed to heavy soiling, frequency of cleaning will need to be at shorter intervals to maintain a natural looking timber deck.
